Bruce Fred McCullough

Bruce Fred McCullough, 56, of Cedar Park, passed away on February 13, 2015. The family will gather for a memorial service to celebrate Bruce’s life on Saturday, March 7, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Beck Funeral Home, 1700 East Whitestone Blvd., Cedar Park, Texas.  


Bruce was born in Pasadena, Texas on June 8, 1958 to Jack Dennis, Jr. and Ela Ruth Bankston McCullough. After graduating from Nacogdoches High School, Bruce went on to attend Tyler Junior College and then Sam Houston State University and graduated with his Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering in 1983. Bruce was proud to be a son of the Republic of Texas. Bruce married the love of his life, Diana Kay Monroe, on November 30, 1985 in Dallas, Texas. It was in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, that Bruce and Diana began their life and their family. Bruce worked in the aerospace industry with Lockheed Martin for many years as an international tech rep. During that time, his assignments took him to Japan, Korea and Egypt. Bruce was an avid history and religion enthusiast and collected artifacts throughout his travels. Bruce loved hot rods and racing. He spent years with his children racing BMX bicycles across the nation.  

Bruce is preceded in death by his father, Dr. Jack Dennis McCullough, Jr. He leaves behind his loving wife of 30 years, Diana McCullough; his children, Lindsay Taylor and Miles Monroe; his mother, Ela Ruth McCullough; brother, Thomas Lee McCullough and his wife Maria; his in-laws, John and Tommie Monroe; along with many other loving family members and friends.
