Rev. Dr. Eric Vincent Wade DDS


Rev. Dr. Eric Vincent Wade, DDS, of Tyler, went home to be with the Lord Friday, May 18, 2012 at Nacogdoches Memorial Hospital. Dr. Eric Vincent Wade was born June 26, 1959, in Houston, Texas, to parents the Rev. and Mrs. Larry D. Wade Sr. Eric's celebration of life will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 24, 2012, at Zion Hill First Baptist Church in Nacogdoches, Texas. A private interment will be held at Pine Grove Cemetery immediately following the service. Eric graduated from Nacogdoches High School in 1976. In 1980, he graduated magna cum laude from Stephen F. Austin State University. He then went on to attend the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, Texas. He received his doctorate of dental surgery degree from UTHSC in 1984. He then went into private practice in Tyler, Texas. While practicing dentistry, he received a higher calling. He accepted his call to the ministry and became a licensed minister in 1993. Eric went home to be with the Lord Friday, May 18, 2012. He is survived by his parents: the Rev. and Mrs. Larry D. Wade Sr.; wife, Yolanda Wade; children, Erica Alicia Sullivan (Stephen) of Tyler, Texas, Eric Vincent Wade, II (Katherine) of Austin, Texas; Brittany Nichelle Wade and Sydney Madison Wade; granddaughter, Trinity Gabrielle McCarroll; brother, the Rev. Larry D. Wade Jr. (Darlene), sister, Anedra Wade Perkins (Hugh), and nephews, Larry D. Wade III, Joseph A. Perkins, Benjamin W. Perkins, Christopher A. Wade and Ethan G. Perkins. He also leaves a host of relatives and friends who will cherish his memory.
